SEATTLE – Two-time Olympian Torin Koos (Leavenworth, WA) was honored for his athletic accomplishments at a Seattle Sonics basketball game April 13 while home on break. Conditions up on Daniel's Summit just 20 minutes outside of Heber City, UT are perfect for crust skiing. There is about 4.5 feet of snow still and a nice crust. Lows Friday morning were around 15F. Highs Friday afternoon were predicted to hit about 60F. You can see that it was gorgeous and offered some great skiing. Certainly worth taking a day off work for!

Torin Koos wasn't ready to start resting following US Distance Nationals. Following on the heels of a an impressive performance in the 50km classic National Championship, where he took the silver, Koos dominated the 5-sport Ridge to River Run.
