John Aalberg becomes Director of Sports at Oslo 2011

John Aalberg (49) has been named the new Director of Sports of the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2011. Last weekend I attended the USSA coach’s conference in Minneapolis.  Included here are my personal observations and musings.  Most of the details of the various talks will be online and you can read them when they are posted. US Biathlon Repeats Success at Summer World Championships

Another day, another great result for the US Biathlon Team. The World Championships in Summer Biathlon ended Sunday in Oberhof with the Pursuit competitions. Again, the US Team turned in a strong team performance. The US men started the pursuit competition in strong position.
