While it was groomed with double tracks they all wanted best-line to 1) make it easier on the skiers, and 2) avoid technique violations from switching lanes.
The racers all didn&#039;t like not being able to see the new line the next morning, and some mentioned double lines would have helped, especially in the finish.

In looking at the start order there were some pretty good skiers seeded quite deeply in the field---so, two tracks definitely would have helped them.
