Here's an update on the schedule for Nordic Ultratune.br /br /The shop will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, Nov 26th. Skis that arrive on Wednesday or earlier will still be in the normal stone grinding batch to be shipped out on Monday Nov 30th.br /br /Nordic Ultratune is closed every week on Tues/Wed, and the coming week is the same -- this means I'll get 3 days off! (no worries, FedEx and UPS deliver even when the shop is closed)br /br /I'll be dashing off to Silver Star Mtn for three days of skiing and ski testing. It'll be a great chance to get some great skiing and a chance to visit with friends. For my wife, Margaret, it will be a chance to reconnect with many close friends, since she lived in Vernon BC for several years. br /br /Silver Star is about a 4 hour drive from the shop, and has great skiing at Sovereign Lake Nordic area as well as the a href="http://www.skisilverstar.com/mountain_showNordicGroomingReport.html" target="_blank"Silver Star/a trails. As a result, it usually trumps the West Yellowstone option. It's Silver Star this year.br /br /To repeat - the stone grinding schedule carries on without interruption. Nordic Ultratune places a big emphasis on getting skis serviced and returned in the shortest time possible. br /br /hmmm...
