The sun was broiling us alive and there was NO wind till after the 5 mile mark, and not much even then.  I was 7 minutes (8%) faster 2 years ago when the conditions were ideal.  So, in an average-weather year I expect that Kris and Justin will both be able to hit the 65 minute time.
That Amare gal who crushed the women&#039;s record won  $7,000.  I hope she shared some with whoever lent her shoes, shorts, and shirt.
