APU Nordic Ski Center is accepting new members for the Summer-only Bridge Program.

What:  The Bridge program is geared for college age student-athletes (high school graduates through U23), but for those with other academic commitments from Fall to Spring. The goal of this program is to bridge the gap between ski seasons and other potential gaps in areas of training and ski sport education.  Bridge participants will train and learn about elite level cross country preparation with the University Team and the Elite Team.  There is also an opportunity (for additional cost) to attend a one week glacier camp on Eagle Glacier.

When: May- Mid August. The Bridge Program has limited space.

How: Contact us at Nordic@alaskapacific.edu for more information. APU campus housing is also available for a fee if needed.

“The Bridge program gave me the opportunity to train with the APU Elite Team and led to a very successful season which included my first National Championship.  I was also honored to represent the US at the World Championships in Falun, Sweden.” – Kyle Bratrud, APU Bridge Program Member 2014
