Learned how to ski in every condition on snowmachine tracks by growing up in Seward, AK. Raced for NMU and Sten Fjeldheim with good results (some seconds and thirds, 4th, and 9th at NCAA’s), and also (starting sophomore yr, for 5 years) US Development Team, best races at World Juniors (13,13,17). Raced 2003 World Champs in Val Di Fiemme, blah results. Burnt out as ski racer shortly after that, started coaching for Williams Purple Cows in 2006, now in my 4th year and loving it. Return to AK every summer, my favorite place in the world, to climb mountains and kiss fish.
