Jewett placed fourth and was the top Canadian at the 15K freestyle race in Sovereign Lake in December at the Olympic Trials and continued the make the case for his inclusion on the Canadian Olympic Team with a first place finish at the Bozeman, MT Super Tour in the 10K freestyle race. When the Canadian team was reallocated four additional spots, Jewett was named. Most recently, Jewett took 32nd place in the 15K freestyle race at the World Cup in Canmore in late January.
