Two NANANordic videos from last year’s trips to Kobuk and Shungnak, plus two more from the program’s most recent visits to AmblerKiana and Noorvik earlier this month, all of which show enthusiastic young skiers and spring skiing at its best in Northwest Alaska.

“We would take footage in each village and present the movies at the end of the week to the kids in an assembly,” wrote Charlie Renfro, producer of the Kobuk, Shungnak and Ambler videos, in an email. “So fun.  Lots of smiles and excitement:)  When I watch the Shungnak one I almost cry for some reason..Weird:)”

University of Alaska-Anchorage Head Coach Andrew Kastning filmed and edited the video on Kiana and Noorvik.
