CRAFTSBURY, Vermont — There were a few surprises on Tuesday during the classic sprints: distance specialists Kris Freeman and Liz Stephen made it to the A-final, while sprint standouts Simi Hamilton and Sadie Bjornsen got knocked out. But such is sprint racing, and our videographer was standing in the start and finish area to catch some of the action on film. Interviews with the top finishers follow, including some great reactions from athletes who were ecstatic with their best sprint finishes of the year.

Everyone, close and far, Canadian American should strongly support all the hard work Craftsbury has done for the springseries. Not many places have tackled the challenges of man made snow and xc ski. Craftsbury should be honored to be pionneers on the East Coast and offer these amazing tracks. As a Canadian, I can safely say that I will definitely make it out there as often as possible. Good work guys.

Right! Well done Craftsbury! I’d also like to personally thank Audrey Mangan, she has been all over the place this winter and it’s not at all easy to do this stuff. Thanks Audrey for all your hard work and commitment this winter.
