Video: SuperTour Finals Women’s Hill Climb

FasterSkier’s coverage of SuperTour Finals and U.S. Distance Nationals is brought to you by the generous support of Concept2, the leading manufacturer of indoor rowers, racing oars, and the SkiErg.

TRUCKEE, Calif. — The hill climb that concluded SuperTour Finals on Monday looks even more brutal on video than it did in the photos. Liz Stephen (Burke Mountain Academy/U.S. Ski Team) clawed her way from third to first, with a 2-minute, 26-second deficit at the start, to pass Sadie Bjornsen (Alaska Pacific University/USST) and then Kikkan Randall (APU/USST) to make it to the top of Sugar Bowl Resort first, winning both the four-race tour and posting the fastest time of the day. Randall held on for second and Bjornsen came in third.
