Position: HEAD COACH – NORDIC SKIING
Where: The Putney School, a residential high school in Putney, Vermont
For the winter trimester: December 1-12 and January 4 – March 5, 2016
Responsibilities:
- Run the school’s nordic competitive ski program
- Plan and execute practice 5x week
- Participate in regional New England meets
- Work with assistant coach(es)
- Manage the wax room and oversee student equipment
- Oversee trails; preparation/grooming
- Coach a competitive team and nurture the Nordic ski community at the school
- Optional: ski trail grooming for additional pay
Requirements:
- Coaching experience required
- Previous work with high school students a plus.
