Lars and Tora Berger to compete in City Biathlon

The Norwegian siblings Tora and Lars Berger will be at the starting line on August 12, in Puettlingen for the third City-Biathlon race of the summer.

27-year-old Lars is a two-time World Champion in cross-country skiing. He took gold in the 15km freestyle and the 4x10km relay in Sapporo, Japan at last year's World Championships. He has also won two silver medals at the Biathlon World Championships in his career. Lars will be accompanied by his sister Tora (26) who will try to beat Kati Wilhelm, Kathrin Hitzer, Tadeja Brankovic and the other top athletes at Puettlingen. Tora Berger was ranked 14th in the overall Worldcup in 2006/2007 and won the bronze medal in the women's relay at the World Championships in Antholz (ITA).
