Craftsbury GRP seeks Wax Tech

The Craftsbury Green Racing Project (GRP) is looking for an experienced Wax Tech for the 2012-2013 season. Primary responsibilities would include all waxing-related decisions, management of ski fleet, and travel with team to most races. The position is seasonal, running from roughly November through March; with potential for additional work assisting with coaching, or other programs or work at the Outdoor Center, a year-round lodging and training facility. Applicant must have several years’ experience with waxing skis for high level athletes and competitions.

The Green Racing Project is an Olympic development cross-country ski program based at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center in Craftsbury, Vermont. Team members race much of the national calendar, with international opportunities mixed in to the schedule. Beyond their achievements on the race course, GRP athletes work to use sustainable systems in their lives, as well as share knowledge of environmental issues and encourage others to take action.
