New pass purchasers ski free in March 2014

On the heels of the best ski season in years with more skiers than ever, Jackson Ski Touring Foundation today announce that they will be holding pass prices steady for the those that purchase their next year’s season pass by March 30th.

Current season pass holders will be able to purchase their 2014/15 passes at last year’s early season rate – adults $115 or resident adults $65 by renewing their pass for 2014/15 by the end of March, 2014.  Junior pass prices will also be honored.  New pass holders will be able to purchase next season’s pass at the lowest rate and ski for free for the rest of this winter.   With stellar conditions and a deep snow base, Jackson XC expects to be open for great spring skiing.

“We have great snow conditions and expect to go through the end of March, possibly into April,” said Thom Perkins, Executive Director of the nonprofit Jackson Ski Touring Foundation.

Skiers are encouraged to purchase their pass before prices increase at the beginning of April, 2014.  After March 30th prices will be $139 for an unlimited adult pass and $119 for a resident unlimited pass.  Season passes are valid everyday of the 2014/15 season.  New for 2015 is a 5-Pack Value Card.  Priced at only $99 for all ages, the transferable day passes allow the purchaser skiing at Jackson XC any 5 days during the winter of 2014/15.

“After holding the line on season pass and day pass prices for several seasons, we have to respond to the increased cost of providing these world class trails,” commented Kevin Killourie, President of the nonprofit Jackson Ski Touring Foundation.  “Jackson Ski Touring will continue to be a recreational bargain when comparing it to alternatives.” Killourie continued.

“We always credit a day skier’s ticket towards the purchase of a season pass when they upgrade before the end of the day.  This allows a skier a ‘try before you buy’ option,” said Perkins, “And kids under 10 always ski free here in Jackson.”

The 2015 Season pass go on sale starting March 2, 2014, and can be purchased online at JacksonXC.org, by calling 1-800-XC-Snows or by visiting the ticket office during operating hours.
