The Norwegian men haven't won much on the World Cup this year, but they did ok in the Worldloppet this weekend. Jœrgen Aukland, brother of well-known Anders Aukland, won the Marcialonga, 11 seconds ahead of Stanislav Rezack from the Czech Republic. Lara Peyrot of Italy won the women's category.
