Jens Arne Svartedal is ready for on-snow glacier training at Sognefjellet in Norway. But the sprint World champion would have skipped this camp if the choice was his.
– I have always said that summer skiing gives few benefits. I have experienced too many bad workouts on the glacier at Sognefjellet, says Svartedal.
The Norwegian national teams including sprinters and distance skiers started their on-snow camp on Tuesday this week. And everyone will be there by Thursday.
— Odd-Bjrn and I are doing some work for one of our sponsors on Tuesday and won’t go up before Tuesday night, explains Svartedal.
