I am going to assume this is a paid announcement vs. “hard news”. Yet the comments section invites us to “kick things off”.
I have used CT1 poles a long time, to borrow another marketing slogan from Timex, they “take a lickin’ but keep on ticking..”
They are super light and balanced. Then a friend gave me some ONEWAY’s, Ok so I now use them. I still like the feel of a CT1 and especially pole basket design in soft snow.

I wonder aloud, I can clearly see how the sales revenues of Swix absolutely burry any other competitor. Then if anybody did the research, i.e. “followed the money”, they would also discern that Swix’s parent company has historically sold cigarettes and or tobacco products at a high profit margin. This isn’t obviously news at Fasterskier. Sort like Swix being a subsidiary of Phllip Morris yet nobody wants you to know that. Yet I bet FS could put that intrepid reporter, Herz on it and he can bird dog the story. If it were news that is but this isn’t really news is it?

So I’m curious if another company had the same marketing budget, would 8 out of 10 USST Olympic Team skiers still be on Swix poles? Gee that kind’ve sounds like another ad pitch…as in “8 out of 10 doctors recommend Bayer….” Ever wonder why Prescription drugs are more expensive in the U.S. vs. the rest of the entire World.

It’s all about the brand baby…

I don’t care if Swix’s mother company sells cigarettes and I don’t care if your mom sells cigarettes. If Swix is willing and able to provide poles for most of our top skiers, then great.

Dude, I don’t have the affinity for Swix as you like to pretend or suggest. The only common theme to my comments is that both your comment here and some of Ian’s releases are a bit lame and childish. I don’t love Swix as much as you seem to hate it.

LOL! Keep trying skierout. It always seems to be personal with you. Btw, I have CT1’s as mentioned.

The question is there. Read it again.

I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about. I just thought your original comment was lame and boring. Nothing personal about that unless you make it personal. I don’t have any personal ties with swix if that’s what you mean. But like I said, I have no clue what you’re getting after.
