Last week Biathlon Canada announced changes to its staffing structure. Today we are excited to launch the search process for a National Team Head Coach. Please find the job notice for the Biathlon Canada National Team Head Coach HERE. We encourage both biathlon and cross country ski coaches to apply.

All applications should be sent to hambery@biathloncanada.ca by May 8, 2019.

Senior National Team athletes will commence the 2019-2020 season in May and will be led by interim Head Coach, Justin Wadsworth; current National Team Coach, Pavel Lantsov; and Assistant Coach/Ski Technician Andrew Chisholm through the training season.

Wadsworth is a three-time Olympian and former head coach of Canada’s national cross country ski team. He will work with the Biathlon Canada Senior National Team until mid-July.

“We are thrilled that Justin will be able to lead the Senior National Team until a permanent head coach is found. Justin has an impressive track record developing athletes and will be a great fit for the organization during this period of transition,” stated Heather Ambery, Biathlon Canada General Manager.
