The Jackson Ski Touring Center, located in picturesque Jackson, NH,  has added two more reasons why it is a must visit location. Jackson XC has been named one of the “Top 10 Best Cross-Country Ski Resorts” in a USA Today 10Best Reader’s Choice poll. The town of Jackson was also named one of the “10 Best Winter Towns in New England” by Yankee Magazine.

Known for its state of the art grooming, Jackson XC offers cross-country skiing on a variety of trails designed to suit every taste and ability, from quiet striding through old growth New England forest or all out skate skiing on an international race course. The town has several ski-in and ski-out locations at eateries, pubs and inns, with an on-trail warming cabin and Cocoa Café on the Ellis River Trail for guests. In addition to Nordic lessons, rentals and children’s programs, Jackson XC offers snowshoe rentals and guided tours, waxing demonstrations and a variety of events.

“We are honored that Jackson XC and the town of Jackson have been recognized by USA Today and Yankee Magazine,” said Breanne Torrey, Jackson XC Executive Director. “Cross country skiing and snowshoeing is a great way to enjoy winter scenery and we have some of the best sights in the Mount Washington Valley, in and around the village. We invite anyone who has not visited yet to come see everything that Jackson has to offer.”
