The third time is the charm for the Continuous Pursuit in North America. After two previous cancellations, the Pursuit finally made it's NorAm Continental Cup debut on Sunday in Silver Star, BC. Kris Freeman and Wendy Wagner both continued their winning ways in commanding fashion and strenthened thier holds on the overall Continental Cup Points lead.

Wendy Wagner gained an impressive forty seconds over the competition in the classical portion of the pursuit and then stretched her lead to a minute by the finish in the skate.
It was Wendy’s most dominant performance in a weekend of domination. She won the classical race, the skate sprint and the pursuit, and all of them by large margins. The most impressive thing about her performance has been her skating. Always a fast classical skier, Wendy is now a great over-all ski racer.
Aelin Peterson again came second to Wagner, but was herself over half a minute ahead of third place Daria Gaiazova. Daria Gaiazova, CAN, won the Junior race, but only by ten seconds over Bozeman, MT junior skier Kristina Trygstad-Saari (US Development Team).
