Sunday _Classic Mass Start

The lead trio of Chris Jeffries, David Chamberlain, and Justin Freeman skied most of the 15K classic together. In the end, Chamberlain came through with a sprint to the finish victory over Jeffries. Freeman was unable to continue the string of Freeman classic wins (between him and his brother Kris). He just did not have a kick left at the end and finished third, fifteen seconds back.

Aelin Peterson also had to fight to the line for her victory in the women's 10K classic. She just out-strided Christine Bisson by a mere 0.2 seconds. Jacqui Benson was third.
