The Women’s National Team this past week completed a training camp at home in Norway. During the camp they moved themselves by foot, rollerski and bike from Kvitfjell near Lillehammer up to the mountain town of Savalen.
“We started first in Kvitfjell with rollerski intervals. The next two days we moved ourselves by foot (hiking and running) through the mountains. The following day we switched to bikes and biked towards Savalen. The last leg we rollerskied again. The following day we did our rollerski time-trial before we ended the camp with a 120 km bike ride”, says development coach Egil Kristiansen.

“All together, this came out to about 350 km (220 miles)”

Kristiansen, who is responsible for the women’s National Development Team is very satisfied with the team so far in the training season.
