Summer Race at Tyrol Basin

Summer cross-country skiing brought over 100 people to Tyrol Basin Ski Area. Top U.S. sprinters came to challenge each other in the summer sprint racing. First in qualification round was Steve Scott from the Main Winter Sport Center (former Junior World Team member) with the time 1 min 41.15 sec and second was Chris Cook from the U.S. Ski Team with the time 1min 41.44 sec. Later in the final heat Chris Cook out sprint Steve Scott on the last 10 miters before the finish line.
