Idaho Rollerski Series 2004

The Idaho Twilight Rollerski Sprint has been expanded into a series for summer 2004! This year, we have added a classic distance event and a freestyle sprint relay to the schedule to make for a full weekend of racing.
SCHEDULE:
Friday, July 23 MORMON CRICKET CLASSIC
1-2:00 pm Registration and Bib Pick-Up. Bogus Basin Downtown Office, 2600 Bogus Basin Road.
3:00 pm Mormon Cricket Classic.
Classic Hill Climb ? 8.5 km up Bogus Basin Road. Maps at registration.
Saturday, July 24 TWILIGHT CRITERIUM ROLLERSKI SPRINT
10:00 am Water Park Party ? Roaring Springs Water Park Off I84 in Meridian, ID (15 minutes west of Boise). Additional Cost.
5-6:30 pm Race Day Registration and Bib Pick-up in the Plaza just outside of the US Bank Building (it's the tallest one in Boise) on Main and Capitol.
6:45 pm Stage on Main Street, between 9th and 10th Streets. Warm-up area is available, but the space is limited
7:15 pm Twilight Freestyle Rollerski Sprint. 2 km (2 x 1 km lap) mass-start sprint race in downtown Boise. Separate start lines for Sr. Men, Jr. Men, Sr. Women and Jr Women.
We hold this event in cooperation with the Boise Twilight Criterium, one of the nation's premier cycling races. The 2002 event drew over 12,000 spectators! This is a great opportunity to race in front of a huge crowd, ski on a course fronted by high-rises, and expose the public to our sport.
Sunday, July 25 MORNING AFTER FREESTLYE SPRINT RELAY
10:00 am BYOT (bring your own tube) Boise River Float. Meet at Barber Park on Warm Springs Blvd.
2 – 2:45 pm Bib pick-up and staging on the front steps of the Idaho State Capitol Building, on the corner of Idaho and Capitol Streets in Downtown Boise.
3:00 pm 'Morning' After Freestyle Sprint Relay. 2 skier teams – 5 laps of 1 km course per skier (alternate laps).

One Race $25
All Three Races $60
*Includes event T-shirt
PRIZE MONEY:
$150 / $75 / $50 per race open classes (50% if less than 6 start) / Gear Prizes for juniors
ALLOWED ROLLERSKI TYPES:
Open Men / Women Race Skis Allowed
Junior Men / Women Training Skis Only (Marwe 610 / ProSki S2 ok)
Helmets required.
Uniforms of some kind are requested (gotta look good for the public!)
