Elin Ek (30) is aiming for medals
– I have capacity to win a world Cup race or an international championship race says Elin.
She was fifth in Otepaa World Cup and sixth in the Marcialonga race last winter. She is now getting ready for the season’s big goal, the Worlds in Oberstdorf, Germany and hopes to be in shape to fight for medals.

– I realized when I was able to hang on to the top skiers in Otepaa that I actually have the capacity to win World cup races or Championship events. It feels good having realized this, says Elin.

Ek is currently at a national team training camp in Sundsvall, Sweden
– We have done many hard workouts including skiwalking with poles, running intervals, rollerskiing and strength training using a Swiss ball.
