Cold Weather Racing Limits Soon To Be Changed

The FIS cold weather racing temperature limit of —20 Celsius for international competitions is about to be changed to —18 Celsius reports Swedish SkidSport.com

It’s the FIS’s medical committee that want this change following last weekends racing in very cold temperatures in Gallivare, Sweden.

The proposal is to change the limit for shorter races from —20 Celsius to —18 Celsius and for longer distances to —15 Celsius.
