.</p><p>– Only gold matters in the relays. I want to contribute to that, says Pedersen.</p><p>Hilde was toying with the idea of retiring after last season, but decided to race one more winter. It’s over after this season.</p><p>– My plan is to race until the last weekend after Easter. It’s over after that, for sure. The next Olympics are out of question, claims the forty year-old.</p><p>– The next Olympics is at altitude and requires long altitude preparations and I’m not up for that, says Hilde.</p><p>She still feels that all the time she has spent at camps with the younger skiers on the team has been positive.</p><p>– I feel that I still live in a young environment and that I have a young mind. That’s very positive for me, says Pedersen.</p><p>It’s regardless still over after this season. It would for that reason taste extra good if she could win gold at Worlds this winter.</p><p>– A gold at Worlds would be the icing on the cake. I need to work incredibly hard and focus on what I’m doing. To stay healthy is the biggest challenge.
