Not at all. 15-kilometers is plenty long for anyone to make a move. I have no complaints and didn’t have or see any crashes or accidents in the front. I saw some skiers go down early on, but was able to avoid them.
How were the spectators and the overall atmosphere?
Incredible. The weather was super: sunny and O degrees Celsius. The stadium was packed and there might have been 30,000 spectators. The event was covered live on television all over Europe. The spectators are very enthusiastic and it’s almost impossible to hear information from the coaches even when they are running next to us on the course inside the fences yelling.
