Get fit this summer: TorbjornSport’s early season special on PRO-SKI Rollerskis Expires April 1. Don’t miss out on a great opportunity to purchase skate or classic rollerskis at 15% discount from one of the best and most successful rollerski brands ever.

Success and fitness: The Norwegian and Swedish National Team and the Canadian women’s team continue to include PRO-SKI Rollerskis in their dryland training. Users also include many of today’s top masters and a large number of the World’s best marathon skiers. A high number of the skiers that succeeded at the Oberstdorf Worlds have been training on PRO-SKI rollerskis. Some have used PRO-SKI classic models, some PRO-SKI skate models and some have used both skate and classic rollerskis made by PRO-SKI. Every winner of the World’s most prestigious marathon, the Swedish Vasaloppet the last six years has been a PRO-SKI user. PRO-SKI’s secret is that there are no secrets. They simply have a ski-like feel, are stable, have ideal speed and the right resistance, absorb vibration and are reliable. New this season are new wheel options for the S3 skate model including both slower and faster, even more durable wheels.

There are many rollerski choices in today’s market and some are good while other are not specific to neither ski feel, resistance or speed. Rollerskis are used in the summer and fall for some very simple reasons: to develop endurance, strength and technique, so make sure that your skis will aide you in that. Don’t waste valuable training time on something that rolls way too fast, too slow, weighs too much, are clumsy or doesn’t duplicate skiing well. Choose a brand that will give you the most value from your dryland training. In our opinion traditional rollerskis with rubber or polyurethane wheels are far better training tools than pneumatic wheel rollerskis. We have yet to meet a qualified coach that disputes this. Successful juniors, masters, World Cup elite and marathoners are using traditional rollerskis. It’s also important to understand that traditional double poling on rollerskis is as important for “skate races only” participants as for classic skiers. Double pole-only distance or interval training is an important part of developing upper body O2 capacity and strength. Traditional classic rollerskis are superior for that purpose.

Consider PRO-SKI Rollerskis, the official supplier of a number of today’s best skiers including the Norwegian and Swedish team as well as the Canadian women’s Team if you are looking to improve your skiing. Six models to choose from. Get 15% discount on orders placed by April 1.
