Norwegian Inge Braaten is hired as head coach for the Swedish men’s national team.
Braaten was head coach for the very successful Norwegian men’s team from 1991 to 1994. Results included Olympic gold medals for Vegard Ulvang (1992), Bjorn Daehlie (1992 and 1994) and Thomas Alsgaard (1994).
The former Swedish head coach, Per-Erik Ronnestrand, was fired in the middle of March. He was in his third year of a four year contract.
