The Eagle River Nordic Training Center was founded in 1994 in Eagle River and has expanded into a consortium of local ski coaches offering a year round training program. ERNTC now presents, Alaska Nordic Racing, a training team that supports athletes in Eagle River, Anchorage with a statewide Winter Racing Team. This program offers year round racer development and support for junior through master level cross country skiers.
ANR athletes are provided with year round training programs specifically tailored to their goals and abilities. Training programs are supported year round by ANR coaches. Our program is built around the premise that athletes are best served when their training enriches them through education, proper technique, and most of all, a love for the sport. Different athletes require varying blends of these component. ANR has weekly group training sessions, training logs and encourages family support. ANR provides athletes with a full service winter racing team. Uniforms are optional. Price is $150.00 for each session. Scholarships and family discounts available.
