Freeport High School in Freeport ME is looking for a Nordic coach for its state championship ski team. Season runs from mid-November to early March. Exceptionally talented group of returning skiers and upcoming freshman class bode well for the upcoming season. Strong community Ski Boosters organization and former program coaches provide excellent support network. This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced coach or someone wanting to transfer their competitive experience and love of Nordic skiing into their first coaching job. Candidates should have a thorough knowledge of classic and skate technique, racing tactics, and race waxing for all conditions.
