Swedish Vasaloppet Organizers: Canadian Stars Scott And Renner Are Coming
Beckie Scott and Sara Renner will race the 45-kilometer classic Vasaloppet World Cup race between Oxberg and Mora two weeks after the Olympics, says Vasaloppet spokesperson Klasse Kvanna to Skidsport.com

– Two of the Worlds hottest female skiers Beckie Scott and Sara Renner have already announced their participation. We have also received entries from the German and Estonian national teams, says Klasse Kvanna.
The German team includes Olympic pursuit bronze medalist Viola Bauer, the 2002 Olympic sprint silver medalist and 2003 pursuit silver medalist Evi Sachenbacher Stehle and Olympic relay Champion Manuela Henkel.
Other top competitors already entered: Kristina Smigun (placed 1-2-2-3 at the 2003 Worlds), Justyna Kowalcyzk with a recent World Cup third place.
