For the past four days the weather has been warm and wet, which has melted some of our bomber base up here in the county. However, a cold front has moved through causing the temps to drop into the twenties during the day and teens at night. The long range forecast shows temps remaining below freezing along with snow showers for the next eight days. The trails are still in great shape and ready to rock, so get that last minute flight and get your #@$ up here!
On to the good stuff…we are bringing back the “fun leaders bib.†This means that we have many opportunities scheduled in which you may claim your right to the bib. Among those opportunities include:
March 19th 8pm Athlete/Coach gathering @ Slopes bar and restaurant Presque Isle
March 21st Post race party 8:15pm @Caribou sports Inn, Caribou. FREE bowling/billiards + live music. Sponsored by Soderberg Construction/northern skiers club.
March 23rd Karaoke Night @ Copper’s Lounge, Presque Isle 9pm
March 24th Slopes w/live music 9pm.
March 26th 5-7pm BBQ @ Quoggy Jo ski area. Toboggan/sledding competitions. Food, music, and BEVERAGES.
