Vidar Lofshus, US sprint coach the last two seasons was hired as assistant coach for the Norwegian sprint and distance team this week.
University of Denver coach Knut Nystad was hired as new head wax technician following Terje Langli’s departure. Knut Nystad is former US Ski Team head coach Trond Nystad’s brother.
Vidar Lofshus is a former member of the Norwegian development team. He has no formal sport education, but has a degree in economy. Loftshus role is “talent developer†and assistant coach for the two men’s teams.
Former men’s assistant coach Morten Aa Djupvik was hired as new men’s distance team coach.
