Custom selection process offers premier fit and highest quality of skis selected from the inventory peaks at Fischer, Atomic and Madshus.

Engineered Tuning partners Boulder Nordic Sport (BNS) and Caldwell Sport Specialties (CSS) announced their next ski selection batch will begin September 1. Engineered Tuning custom selects Fischer, Atomic and Madshus skis individually for clients and provides professional ski service with Tazzari stone-grinding equipment.

The Engineered Tuning hand-selection process begins with a conversation with Zach Caldwell or Nathan Schultz who offer their experience to help guide clients to select the appropriate brand, model and characteristics. Once the criteria for selecting the skis have been established, Engineered Tuning searches for a perfect match based on a number of factors including the flex, tip pressure, hotspot length and location, camber height differentials and finishing hardness among others. This comprehensive set of criteria helps eliminate bad skis from the selection process while closely matching the ski to the individual and the desired performance characteristics.
