On snow skiing and volume is the main focus for the Norwegian team’s Ramsau, Austria training camp. But Jens Arne Svartedal is warning about pushing too hard.

The Norwegian sprint and distance teams arrived Ramsau before last weekend, while the women’s team arrived on Monday August 28.

The nationalteam skiers have not been on snow since early June, so on-snow skiing is the main focus at the seven day long camp.

Curious about the conditions

– We have been through a period with lots of intensity and volume, and on-snow skiing is therefore the main focus at this camp, says Vidar Lofshus.

The athlete developer is saying that the training in Ramsau will be as specific as possible. — It’s skiing we are training for, he says.

Jens Arne Svartedal is also looking forward to a week on Austrian snow.
