<p>Training and other outside-sport activities added up to too much for Norwegian national team skier Kristin Stormer Steira this summer.</p>
<p>– I don’t think we are going to call it overtraining. We were hopefully able to see the signals before it went that far. But Kristin lost her energy. She has therefore only trained easy the last month, says national team coach Egil Kristiansen to TV2 Nettavisen</p>
<p>Steira doesn’t believe that it’s the training volume that’s the reason for the problem</p>
<p>– The total load was too big. It was too much outside training activities this summer, both social and some remodeling of my house. I wasn’t good enough at recovering between the workouts, says Kristin</p>
<p>She is still aiming for her goal about medal at Worlds in Sapporo, Japan this winter.</p>
