Canadian Olympic Biathlon champion Myriam Bedard was found in Maryland just before Christmas.
American authorities caught up with Bedard late Friday night near Baltimore. She's wanted on charges of abducting her daughter despite not having full custodial rights.

Lawyers for said Wednesday they are trying to cut a deal with Quebec officials to spring her from a U.S. jail and allow her to return to Canada.
