He has also seen other problems with Tour de Ski that has to be corrected when the Tour continues next season.
– The conditions for the Service teams have been poor. Not enough space and health wise not good enough. It was probably good that the first races in Nove Mesto were cancelled considering the total load and stress of the (first) Tour, says Aune.
He is however overall happy with the event but wants to wait a week before he makes his final conclusions and recommendations for the future of the Tour.
– We won’t make our finale conclusion before we know that our skiers are able to stay healthy. That’s the challenge now, he says.
