Fortum Ski Tunnel in Torsby, Sweden has had a fantastic fall season. By December 31,000 skiers had visited since the opening in June 2006.

The Swedish skitunnel in Torsby has been a success among Norwegian and Swedish skiers.
– It has exceeded expectations. The customers have felt that it’s been a great experience to be able to ski in Fortum Tunnel Torsby. Everyone seems happy with the tunnel’s course profile and temperature. We reached our goal with 30,000 skiers and are satisfied with that, says the Tunnels daily leader Thomas Stjerndorff
Suits everyone
The tunnel has attracted more than just elite skiers. A large number of citizen type skiers are among the tunnels users and they give it raving reviews. .
The skicenter will during the 2007 season add a conference center and a cafeteria. LÃ¥ngbergets sportshotell will also offer a facilitiy for testing.
– A lot will happen this upcoming season. It’s important to continue to develop this concept, we want Torsby to be a skicenter in Sweden, says Thomas Stjerndorff.
