U.S. Cross Country Championships/SuperTour Finals Start March 28

Heavy snowfalls and cold weather have made for excellent conditions for
the U.S. Cross Country Championships/SuperTour Finals in Presque Isle.

Program for the U.S. Cross Country Championships/SuperTour Finals:

Mar. 28 – Exhibition Team Sprint F
Mar. 30 – 15/30km Pursuit
April 1 – 30/50km F mass-start

Below are the current standings of the SuperTour and FIS North American Marathon Cup, heading into the U.S. Cross Country Championships/SuperTour Finals.

Men's Overall:

1. Lars Flora (USA) – 471 points
2. Kris Freeman (USA) – 306 points
3. Garrott Kuzzy (USA) – 268 points
4. James Southam (USA) – 229 points

*Lars Flora has already won the overall sprint and general
classifications.

Men's FIS North America Marathon Cup:

1. Zack Simons (FSx) – 55 points
2. Chad Giese (Subaru Factory Team) – 43 points
3. Justin Easter (Subaru Factory Team) – 39 points
4. Josh Smullin – 38 points

Men's Distance:

1. Lars Flora (USA)
2. Kris Freeman (USA)

4. Zachary Violett (USA)

Men's Sprint:

1. Lars Flora (USA) – 192 points

* With double points awarded at Presque Isle's U.S. Cross Country
Championship, Compton and Valaas will battle for the overall title. The
winner of the overall class for man and women will be awarded a start
spot in the World Cup races during November and December next year.
