She will race the Horgi Opp uphill race in Voss before she takes a break. She is hoping that this will give her an idea of how the last uphill in next season’s Tour de Ski will be.
– Maybe the uphill in Val di Fiemme will feel easy after Horgi Opp, says Astrid.
Why do you think you are suddenly doing better in the longer races?
– The main reason is that I have trained well for many years.
But why won’t you just focus on sprint, since you have shown that you are best in the World there?
– It’s boring to just race sprint races, says the 2007 sprint World Champion.
