Neither Mathias nor Thobias Fredriksson will continue as members of the Swedish team. Bjorn Lind is also considers leaving.
Mathias Fredriksson was recently kicked off the Swedish team following a major soap-opera. His brother Thobias has now resigned on his own free will, writes Nettavisen.
Björn Lind might also leave
Sprinter Björn Lind is considering leaving the Swedish team after Fredriksson's decision to train on his own.
– I understand Thobias’s decision and I have this in mind as well.
– I have experience with what works. There is a lot in the national teams program that should have been done different, says Lind.
Lind underlines that he desires more glacier training. The national team’s plan is to ski as much as possible in the Torsby ski-tunnel.
– The skitunnel is fine, but it’s not the same as skiing on glaciers, says Lind.
