The Rochester Post Bulletin reported that the two men raised $1,800 through their efforts. “This really exemplifies the Nordic spirit,” said Walker, 40, an avid cross country and roller skier who frequently commutes to work on roller skis. “We just like to get outside and be active and not worry about when the snow is going to come.”
