Fasterskier.com is excited to announce that the 'Coaches Around the Country' column will be back again this winter!
This will be a bi-weekly column highlighting our ski coaches from around the country…. including elite coaches, college coaches, high school coaches, volunteer coaches, and learn-to-ski coaches, and ambassadors to our sport. This is an effort to sample a diverse group of coaches/volunteers and recognize the people who are the backbone of today’s nordic community. If you would like to nominate a coach for an interview this year, please email robertwhitney99@hotmail.com. Please give coach’s name, email, phone, and several paragraph description describing the nominee, their attributes, something unique about the person, and any other pertinent information.
Many of you nominated coaches last winter (Thank you!), but due to constraints, not all the nominees were interviewed. For this column, only those that are nominated this fall will be interviewed. Fasterskier.com will select ten (10) coaches to be interviewed this winter. So, send in your nomination!
If you have constructive ideas and/or suggestions for types of questions and the direction you would like to see the interviews move, please let us know as well (or just post them in the comments section).
