Yellowstone Rendezvous Perfect Warm-Up For World Masters

FasterSkierDecember 14, 2007

This year’s Yellowstone Rendezvous Race will take place on Saturday, February 23, 2008. The race organizing committee moved the date of the race up this year so that it would not conflict with World Masters in McCall, Idaho. The timing of this year’s Rendezvous Race makes it a perfect training race for skiers headed to World Masters.

Organizing committee member Scott Carsley says, “I’d recommend that skiers headed to World Masters in McCall come to West Yellowstone and use the Rendezvous as a training race. Skiers can compete in the 25K classic or skate races at altitude here in West Yellowstone, take a couple of days off to visit Yellowstone National Park and then head down to McCall to compete in World Masters. What a great way to prepare!”

The first deadline for Rendezvous Race registration is January 1, 2008. For more information visit www.rendezvousrace.com.
