FasterSkier.com’s Spring Video Contest: â€œFrom Packed to Powder and Everything in Betweenâ€ The 2007/2008 Season

This winter you digitally documented rubbing shoulders in mass starts, toeing the line to pick up a tenth, exhausting interval sessions, craziness with your teammates, hitting kickers, and even fresh powder in the backcountry. So what are you going to do with all that footage?

Show the ski world that you are a budding Steven Spielberg and make a ski video that captures the 2007/2008 season and enter it in the FasterSkier â€œPacked to Powder and Everything in Betweenâ€ Video Contest. Anything goes as long is it has to do with XC ski culture and/or sport and happened this season.

The deadline for submitting videos is May 1, 2008. FasterSkier will judge the entries on the basis of the following criteria: Originality 50%, Storyline 25% and Presentation 25%. The best videos will be posted on FasterSkier.

Here is what to do:

– Make a video that is no longer than 15 minutes.
– Post it on YouTube or Google Video.
– Send FasterSkier.com an email (matthew@fasterskier.com) with the following information;

(Your name, Your club/team, Your mailing address, The title of your video, The link to your video, The embed tag of your video)
