Due to persistent national and regional scheduling conflicts the Owl Creek
Chase has decided to move back to the mid-January spot on the Nordic
calendar, this next year the Owl Creek Chase will held on Sat. Jan. 17th,
2009. Further details of the USSA SuperTour and other Aspen Nordic Festival
events will be made shortly.
This season the Owl Creek Chase was held on February 9th.
The Aspen Nordic Festival is proud to carry on the strong tradition of the
Owl Creek Chase which dates back to 1985, as well as bringing new traditions
forward with events for juniors, citizen racers and elites alike. The
progressive nature of bringing all of these different groups together at the
same time has ensured the best possible atmosphere and energy for what has
become the signature Nordic event in Colorado, THE ASPEN NORDIC FESTIVAL.

of Aspen, The Ute Mountaineer and The Aspen Valley Ski Club.
